New Hampshire 'I Voted' stickers for 2024 made by fourth-graders

Voters across New Hampshire wear them as a badge of pride.

Those "I Voted" stickers worn on the chests of thousands of people across the state Tuesday were designed by New Hampshire fourth-grade students.

Three designs were chosen in the state's first-ever “I Voted” Sticker Contest, run by the New Hampshire secretary of state's office.

More than 1,000 fourth grade students across the state submitted designs, and each was judged on creativity, inclusion and a focus on New Hampshire.

The following three winners were chosen for "capturing the spirit of New Hampshire" and encouraging all voters to take part in elections, including the presidential primary in January and Tuesday's state primary election.

GRACE, OF MILTON: Grace's design focused on the state's famed Old Man of the Mountain, with an American flag in the background.

JACOB, OF AUBURN: Jake's design features the state of New Hampshire fishing, with an American flag in the background.

RILYNN, OF MONT VERNON: Rilynn's design featured a moose standing on an outcrop, with mountains and fall foliage in the background.

Grace, Jacob and Rilynn were also invited to the State House to have lunch with Secretary of State David Scanlan and Deputy Secretary of State Erin Hennessey.

The winning designs will also be distributed at all primary polling locations across the state.
