Today’s NYT Mini Crossword Clues And Answers For Sunday, October 27th

Oct 28, 2024

Looking for help with today's NYT Mini Crossword puzzle? Here are some hints and answers for the ... [+] puzzle.

In case you missed Saturday’s NYT Mini Crossword puzzle, you can find the answers here:

The last lazy Sunday of October is here and we have just a few days until Halloween and then the Dia de los Muertos on November 1st and 2nd. Lots of holidays and celebrations are coming up. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years. Time flies. Let’s solve today’s Mini Crossword shall we?

The NYT Mini is a smaller, quicker, more digestible, bite-sized version of the larger and more challenging NYT Crossword, and unlike its larger sibling, it’s free-to-play without a subscription to The New York Times. You can play it on the web or the app, though you’ll need the app to tackle the archive.

One good tactic with crossword puzzles is to try to get as many ACROSS as possible first and then you’ll find a lot of the DOWN are already done—or vice versa if the ones ACROSS are trickier.

Spoilers ahead, obviously. Skip ahead for the image of today’s solved puzzle.

Today's Mini Crossword

This one wasn’t bad, though I was thrown off a couple times when I used the wrong word. I tried MOP at first for 6-down, but it was SOP. Others, like RADIO and BIB were quite easy out the gates. Same with BURST. Overall, a much easier crossword than yesterday’s.
